Michael Abbinante is a graduate of the University of Dayton (Ohio) with a degree in Accounting. While working for Price Waterhouse, he passed the CPA exam.
In 1983, Michael opened a Business Brokerage Firm in Cleveland, Ohio. After selling a "Mid-Size" Company in Tucson in 1988, he relocated here, and started a Business Brokerage Practice. His firm has been located in Rosemont Executive Suites since 1989.
Michael has personally brokered (sold) 406 businesses. Prior to discontinuing the rendering of Professional Business Valuations (Appraisals) in 1998, he had completed and rendered 111 such Appraisals.
CERTIFICATIONS: Besides being a Certified Public Accountant, Michael was previously a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), which is an accreditation through the International Business Brokers Association. Currently there are only 489 such CBI's in the United States.
CURRENT ORGANIZATIONS: American Institute of CPA's, Tucson Association of Business Brokers, Phoenix Board of Business Brokers, Executive's Association of Tucson, and a member of the Tucson Commercial Brokers' Roundtable.
PREVIOUS COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES: Board Member of Beacon Foundation of Tucson, Board Member of Goodwill Industries, Past President and Board Member of the Kachina Rotary Club of Tucson.
